Introduction
From last week's experience map task, In the same group, we are required to model a prototype of a system that can improve the experience of our respective experiences. In our case, it was the shopping experience at TenTen store during lockdown.
The pain point that we discovered was during the anticipation stage where the customer search for products they want to buy. Currently, TenTen only promote their products on social media such as Instagram and Facebook. It is usually fine for a small business to only showcase on social media but as for TenTen, their inventory is considered large to only be showcased in Instagram or even Facebook.
We decided to model a shopping application for TenTen to provide customers with a proper catalogue of products to buy from. The aim of the app is to efficiently display all their offerings and to simplify the system of their online shopping.
Design Process
Software used : Adobe XD
Design style : Dark and Minimal
The app allow users to sign up with their account to save their information for future purchases and record keeping previous purchases.
The Home page consists of an Advertising Banner, 'New Arrivals' section, and an 'On Sale' section. The most bottom part of the page has buttons that direct users to the shopping page, settings page, and finally the cart page.
The Shopping page is where users look for products. The page is categorised by types of products but users can also direct search for the specific product they are looking for.
